사물간의 통신에 대한 키워드로 논의되는 IoT는 이미 우리 주변에서 시작되었으며, 네트워크의 새로운 패러다임으로 이의 확산은 완전히 새로운 기술 개발이 아니라, 어떻게 현재 존재하는 요소 기술들을 적절하게 융합 및 통합하어 실질적인 서비스 구현에 활용할 수 있는가와 그 사이에 아직 채워지지 않은 기술 갭을 적절히 채워넣는 것에 달려있을 것이다.
